Craig Brown and David Landriault built G-Town Sounds as co-founders and partners, bringing Galveston experience and a lifetime in music together on one signal.
How the signal came together
Two partners. Different strengths. One homegrown station.
G-Town Sounds began with a shared belief: Galveston deserved an independent online station with room for familiar favorites, island rhythm, and songs outside a narrow format. Craig Brown and David Landriault built that station together as co-founders and partners.
Craig Brown
Craig Brown has owned and operated multiple businesses and served Galveston for 12 years in elected city office—six on City Council and six as mayor.
He brings G-Town Sounds the perspective of both a Galveston business owner and a former mayor.
David Landriault
David Landriault is the founder of Falcontail Marketing & Design and works across marketing, communications, creative direction, and technology.
A lifelong musician, he has also operated recording studios and a record label. He brings those music, communication, and production backgrounds together at G-Town Sounds.
G-Town Sounds is the partnership they built from those two sets of experience: Craig's years in Galveston business and public service, David's career in communications and music, and their shared work on a station made on the Island and free to hear anywhere.
