Privacy Notice
Effective August 26, 2026. This notice explains what happens to information when you visit gtownsounds.com, listen to the station, join the email list, or contact G-Town Sounds.
Email signup
If you join the list, we collect the email address you submit so G-Town Sounds can send occasional station news, listening highlights, and notes from Galveston. Mailchimp, an Intuit service, processes and stores that signup for us and may collect the technical information needed to protect and operate its signup page.
You can unsubscribe through the link in any G-Town Sounds email. You may also ask us to remove your address through our contact form. Mailchimp's handling of information is described in the Intuit Global Privacy Statement.
Contact form
If you contact the station, we collect the name, email address, subject, and message you submit so we can review and respond to it. Contact submissions are stored in Cloudflare D1 for up to 365 days. Cloudflare Turnstile helps block spam. To limit repeated abuse, the form also keeps a scrambled security record for up to 24 hours; that record cannot be used to recover your raw IP address. Your contact information is not added to the G-Town Sounds email list unless you separately join it.
Website, analytics, and radio services
- Cloudflare hosts and protects this site. Cloudflare may process ordinary request and security data such as your IP address, browser, and request time.
- Cloudflare Web Analytics provides aggregate, cookie-free traffic and performance reports. We use those reports to understand visits and improve the site, not to build advertising profiles.
- Live365 supplies the station stream, current-track information, and album art. Requests to those services include ordinary technical information such as your IP address, browser, and request time. Listening is subject to the Live365 Privacy Policy.
- Your device may save ordinary site preferences such as player volume. You can clear saved site data in your browser settings.
We do not sell information submitted through this website, and this site does not use advertising cookies.
Security and choices
We collect only the information needed for the feature you choose: your email address for station updates, or your name, email address, subject, and message when you contact us. No internet service can promise absolute security. You can listen free without joining the list or sending a message.
